SAN FRANCISCO, CA, June 27, 2007 – Live Nation San Francisco (Live Nation SF), having recently announced its comprehensive environmental strategy, is offering music fans a chance to see some of the summer’s best live entertainment while at the same time helping to raise money for local environmental groups.



From Friday, June 29th at 10am to Saturday, July 7th at 12 midnight, a limited number of tickets to shows at Shoreline Amphitheatre and Sleep Train Pavilion at Concord will be only $25.00 inclusive of parking and all service charges. These tickets will only be available online at www.livenation.com and www.ticketmaster.com. A small per order fee will be applied to each order (not each ticket). Every $25 Green Ticket purchased during this time frame will include a $1.00 donation benefiting The Friends of the Stevens Creek Trail and the Mount Diablo Interpretive Association.



The Shoreline Amphitheater shares common ground with The Friends of the Stevens Creek Trail. This local community group’s goal is to raise awareness and support for the completion, enhancement and enjoyment of the Stevens Creek Trail Corridor. The trail runs through tidal marshlands and natural riparian habitats, providing recreation and educational opportunities. For more information: http://www.stevenscreektrail.org/



The Mount Diablo Interpretive Association is a non-profit volunteer organization which assists the California Department of Parks and Recreation in maintaining and interpreting Mt. Diablo State Park for its 700,000 visitors each year. The Sleep Train Pavilion sits in the shadow of this East Bay Icon. http://www.mdia.org/



By offering the $25 Green Ticket, Live Nation hopes to raise much needed money for these two organizations while at the same time giving fans a chance to see some of their favorite artists at a discounted price.



The environmental program recently launched by Live Nation SF (www.livenation.com/sfgreen) is expected to result in a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, energy use and waste generated by its six owned and/or operated Bay Area venues and its over one million fans who attend its events each year.

The $25 Green Ticket will be available from Friday, June 29th at 10am to Saturday, July 7th at 12 midnight and can only be purchased online at Livenation.com or Ticketmaster.com. There are a limited number of $25 Green Tickets available and there is an 8 ticket limit per person.
