February 20, 2009 - San Francisco, CA - On the heels of his four wins at the 2009 Grammy Awards, Lil' Wayne has just announced a tour date at the HP Pavilion at San Jose on Friday, March 27th at 7pm. Joining him on the San Jose "I Am Music" tour stop are T-Pain, Gym Class Heroes and Keri Hilson. His last appearance in the Bay Area was a sold out show at the Oracle Arena in 2008.
Lil' Wayne's 2009 Grammy highlights included taking home honors for Best Rap Album, Best Rap Solo Performance, Best Rap Performance by Group or Duo and Best Rap Song. One of the show's performance highlights occurred during the star-studded rendition of "Swagga Like Us" featuring Lil' Wayne, Jay-Z, T.I. and Kanye West, along with a 9-month pregnant M.I.A.
Tickets for Lil' Wayne are on sale Saturday, February 28th at 10am at www.LiveNation.com. Tickets are $85.50, $65.50 and $45.50 for reserved seats plus applicable service charges. Tickets are also available at the HP Pavilion box office or by calling 408-998-TIXS.
